lost dreams

I have lost many dreams. Some were taken away from me, others i gave away. A few i left untouched. Many have been forgotten as the years went by. I gave up on some of my dreams. I have lost many dreams.....


My dreams change as my priorities change in life. Some dreams remain as day dreams. Others a distant thought that will perhaps never be brought to life. At different intervals in my life i have seen my dreams coming true in other peoples lives. Others will be achieving that which i had dreamt of achieving. I am always happy for the people this happens to but im left bewildered and wondering.....if this was also what i had dreamt for myself then howcome its coming true for someone i actually know but not for me. The answer is painfully clear to me. They had the courage to grasp their dream and make it come true. I didnt. I have lost so many dreams.


When you set ur sights on a dream, you have to take the necessary action for that dream to be realised. Sometimes taking appropriate action is not possible. But my simple heart will carry on dreaming. No matter how many more dreams are lost in future, my naive, innocent heart will never stop dreaming. Dreaming is one of the many things that make my soul smile. My dream world is a magical place where nothing is ever lost. My dreams are a place where i get to make wishes that actually come true....my dreams are my secret stash of happiness......... :-)
